MFS Locks

Has anyone noticed a decline in quality with MFS's locks and products overall lately? Who does everyone think has the highest quality locks?

I don't use them anymore due to their customer service over an issue, among other things.
If my clients aren't already aware of it, preservation locks are of what I call,
"temporary quality". When the buyer gets the keys at closing, they should have been informed to contact a locksmith for better grade locks. There probably a half dozen companies, Bargain Locks for one, that sell locks and products for foreclosed properties, but regardless of the vendor, a $5 Chinese locks is still a $5 Chinese lock.

Agreed GTX- but now there are $5 Chinese locks, and recently new $2 Chinese locks that MFS sells. They have gotten worse, they strip out a lot, and are harder to get installed than before.

I've had better luck with PPMaterials, Bargain Locks, and more recently Carrdan.

What locks can I use?

What locks can I use? Do I have to use what they want me to use, or can I make that call?

Best place to buy locks and, lock boxes please? I live in Kentucky, the place who can get them to me the quickest.

Your standard cheap locks you can order from several different companies. You can not purchase them at your local hardware store at make nothing on the price. Bargain Locks, Carrdan just a few. Make sure your client doesn't request a particular lock, check your work orders. Hope this helps as I'm new at this P&P myself.
