Used to own a couple of SeaDoos during a real stressful period in my life. Wasn't a better way to blow steam back then.
I found the best boats, like grandkids, belonged to someone else. Reap all of the benefits and then you go home at night.
Hunting, shooting, camping, hiking take enough of my time. I love the ocean; I love the timber more.

I was a marine and poweresports tech for a number of years and LOVED the lake time involved with the profession. Lake testing speedboats and yachts was great fun as was access to rental boats.

Actually thinking about getting back into marine repair/maintenance/winterizing on my own now that I have the location and means to do so.

i wouldn't classify myself as an addict, but I do have a 26ft Carver Montego docked.

Unfortunately, I haven't been on it in months. I plan on moving it to a better marina next spring and hopefully make sure I use it a little bit more. The Marina Im moving to is within the Great Loop. I hope to take a few long trips next year.

What kind of boat do you have OP?

There are somewhere around 160 lakes in my home county alone.

Plus many more in surrounding counties.

So, yes, with teenage boys & their friends, and other family, friends and neighbors, I have a boating problem! And a Waverunner problem!

Iíve already told you more than I know.
