Just drained the gas and pulled the batteries

out of my mowers, put them in the back of the shed and parked them in with 4 wheelers, dirt bikes and snow blowers in the way, and wouldn't you know it an old grass cut bid came in. You got a love it.

Don't you love the way you look to the neighbors?
I've told them its either too muddy, frozen or the equipment is put up, but we still get a couple of initials a week.
We had one that we did about a month ago that paid $2700 for 7 acres. We didn't mow it, we put two skid steers out there and just leveled everything (the way we bid it).

I'm going to look like a moron

but it's a decent bid and everything in the way is on wheels. Its supposed to get up to 40 on Thursday, and the grass is dead now, so at least it should mulch up nice. I've been doing this long enough to know sometimes its just better to laugh about it, keep your dead down and get it done.

Its just that I just winterized everything yesterday, in advance of a cold spell.

The weather can vary quite a bit in my area, in 2012 I was driving the plow truck with movers in the back. I'm no stranger to looking like a dufus.
