Another fraud case

http://news.yahoo.com/u-files-mortga...--finance.html

From my "close contacts" the next lawsuits will bring a lot of affidavits to US contractors.

Remember everytime YOU submit a damage report it gets filed for an insurance claim or a reimbursment claim. Insurance Companies are going to go after the banks next......YOU had better have the proper documentation AND increase your E&O coverages for when the claims start being filed on YOUR insurance policy.

It all runs downhill and the contractor is the bottom of the heap. Just saying...plan now.

Bharara's office has brought similar cases in the past few years, including one against Citigroup Inc unit CitiMortgage Inc, which settled the case for $158.3 million in February, and against Deutsche Bank, which paid $202.3 million in May to resolve its case.
The U.S. Attorney's office in Brooklyn brought the biggest such case, against Bank of America Corp's Countrywide unit, which agreed in February to pay $1 billion to resolve the allegations.

You can bet your sweet A$$ those lawsuit dollars don't end up where they are intended. Just another means to prop up our out of control government.
