BAC work completed by others.....

It seems as though since safeguard has taken over b.a.c field services they have totally screwed up the system! The last half dozen b.a.c work orders I have received have already been completed by safeguard or a third party when I get to the property. all I get then is a trip charge but I still have to provide all the damn bids! I have one that is 130 miles round trip for lock box and winterization and come to find out the winterization has already been completed by a third party. Now they still want me to go to the property for a 50 dollar trip charge plus 25 bucks for a lock box and verify as well as bid everything.

This whole business is becoming a big circle jerk and a waste of valuable time. Hope the newbies enjoy getting poked because I am just about done. If winter wasn't setting in I would be done already. If winter wasn't already setting in I would be done now but I need to make sure I have some sort of income stream for the cold months.

A trip charge does not cut it here when your work orders are 40 to 50 miles apart from each other. If you're able to do some sort of paying work it helps that situation out but when it ends up just being an inspection after somebody else did the work we lose our ass everytime.

Trip charges never cut it. Unless its $100 trip charges.

I known the trip charge doesn't cut it I do this work everyday, that's what the regional always say. I think they shouldn't beable to take discount off the trip charges but I guess that would be fair to the vendors
