Have you tried it yourself?
Go ahead, try searching the following companies:
MCS
AMS
MSI
BLM
FDI
VPS
HUD
FAS
PAS
VRM
C2C
Please come back with your results!
Let me save you some trouble, you CAN'T search ANY of these companies on this forum!
Need a minimum of 4 characters!

Unfortunately, Bigdaddy is correct. The search function doesn't work with only 3 characters.

If you are going to search "MCS" for example, you may need to add another term like "MCS pay" or "MCS grass".

Otherwise, Google works pretty well. Afterall, search is what they do. Try "Preservationtalk MCS" and it will find the threads.

Well you didn't mention Safeguard in your first post at all.
I would venture to say most preservation companies use 3 letter names. Sure FAS is Field Asset Services but most people who post or search will use FAS not the full name.
What I am trying to get at is the search function is flawed here, I think most forums have minimum of 4 characters for search results but you would think the owners could tweak it since most companies are only 3 letters.
Sure you can search google as well, again have YOU tried it? I did and guess what? The most recent post are from over a year ago!
I tried Brads suggestion and searched "Preservationtalk MCS"
The search came up with 5 post and again, the most recent was Jan 2015
If you click on more results from Preservation talk it will list all of them but not in order. Eventually you would find recent post but how many people are going to go thru all of that?
Maybe the owners of this site could make it easier for people to search here?
I doubt it, they just sit back and collect the revenue from all of the click bait, pop up ad revenue here.

I will put a request in and see if some improvements can be made to the search function. However, I know the members on ContractorTalk have complained about the search functionality there as well. I don't believe anything got fixed or improved for them................

The first rule of Search Bar is that you don't talk about Search Bar. Not here.
