Workload These Days

Many here have noted that work is down. With HUD requiring 3rd party repairs passed thru at no profit, last week we had a day where the dollar total of pass-thru orders exceeded the dollar total of paying orders. Totally ridiculous!

Count your blessings you are not where I am in Hurricane destroyed east Central Florida, everything had ground to a stop because the cubicle and desk folks in the north seem to know better than the boots on the ground. We are submitting bids for hundreds of yards of debris removal at properties and it gets declined or chopped up. Good case in point we bid to remove 25 yds from a property they approved 7 so removed 7 and bid the rest again at a higher rate, their heads nearly exploded...or the get the grass cuts done because the debris removal allowable should be enough...I feel your frustration...

I feel for you fellas. I can imagine my coworkers, cozy in a Midwest cubicle, sympathizing but not completely understanding how insane getting work done can be after a massive weather event.
