The vendors that I have run into have either been:
A: Brand new to the field, clueless, ready to make their fortune in p&p/preservation. Usually have positive things to say about regionals and nationals. In general, more closely guarded about their payors info.
B: Vendors who are seasoned, disenchanted and on the verge of telling the nationals/regionals to pound sand. Willing to trade stories and complaints. Don't really care about keeping cards held close because they are moving on to more legitimate services.
C: Half-assed employees and subs of subs. People trying to get in and out as quickly as possible without making it overly obvious that they are completely faking their services and photos. Usually less willing to chitchat because they still have 15 other properties to get to and have 1500+ photos to take and submit so they can collect their $100 for the workday.
