Saying good by to door knock / door hanger inspections

Following several posts from multiple very good sources as " direct lender type sources " are saying that because of a major class action law suit for " door hanger inspections or door knock inspections, Wellsfargo has lost a class action law suit to the amount of $25 million dollars. As I my self have been received now four email memos from four nationals stating that Wellsfargo is canceling its door knock / door hanger type inspection services as it was deemed illegal and violates debt collection practices, so my question is? Then will inspections for default properties be only from the city streets? Because this case, the law changed in Washington state have deemed this service illegal and the state of Maine requires a separate license to offer these services as you would be considered a debt collector, but which in truth you are if these services are being offered as your not delivering a RSVP to a find dining or a birthday party.

I determined these to be illegal in PA a long time ago.

Unless you get a permit to solicit, in every little municipality, There are also some grey areas of law on the subject making it not worth the trouble, beside the fact they don't pay anything.
