Asons

A few days ago we received a email from Asons, they were inquiring as to if we would like to become a vendor, I reviewed the threads on here but most are pretty old, was wondering how they are to work with, I know there pay is quick, but didn't find anything negative on them, so just want some input from you all on this before I do anything, want to add some type of filler work for when we are slow on rental repairs/rehabs and residential work.

Everything on them is negative. Hope that helps?

What happened to you with US Best Repairs is about to happen again only with ASONS. THen it will happen with another company until you figure out that you can't trust anyone else but yourself.

The scorpion needs to cross a
river, so he asks the frog to carry him on his back. The frog is skeptical; after all, scorpions
kill. The scorpion calms the frog,
explaining that if he stung him on the swim across, they would both die. Therefore, the frog can be assured the
scorpion will do no such thing. “Trust me,” says the scorpion. “We’re in this
together.”

Halfway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog. As
the frog seizes up and they both begin to sink, the frog croaks, “Why?”

“I am a scorpion. It
is my nature.”

Stay away from fools, for you won't find knowledge on their lips.

When one says they pay fast one should add a disclaimer regarding how little they pay. Anyone can toss you a nickel for every job you do the second you do it.

We did p&p work for them and although most of the pay is low they do pay fast. All was great with them until Keisha Thomas took over as our vendor coordinator for Ohio. She is rude and treats contractors like crap. It got to the point that my contractors did not want to do any work for them. Our properties were always done correctly and above standards and she would reopen our orders for very petty reasons. We would get work orders for properties that other vendors completed to find that there was debris left, left filthy after a initial cleaning and stuff not completed that she would reopen our work orders for. ( simple stuff like taping the sinks for a wint. Which we were never required to do with them) She definitely has her favorites and I think it has a lot to do with the color of your skin.
Anyways, they can be good but hopefully your not in Ohio to have to deal with her.

I really liked Asons. They may not pay the best, but there was never any problem getting my money. The best part was how they would always approve my bids on site, while often times tripling and quadrupling my money. They were always professional, reasonable and understanding. They could be a little picky, but we always got paid! It just sucks they lost the FHLMC contract last year in PA.
