Safeguard Credentialing

Hello,

I have a quick question and hope someone can shed some light on something for me. I have been going through the credentialing process with Safeguard as a Field Inspector for the last 2 months. I have been put off and put off about the audit process. Finally they completed the audit and I passed, then I had to take a test. I took it but it said I did not score high enough and you were not allowed to retake it. It had alot of questions with things I don't even deal with. My question is - Can anyone tell me what happens at this point. Can you request a retest or are you just out after all this. I never have been giving a straight answer from them on any of this kind of stuff. Thanks in advance for your time and help.

You're not going to get the help you want here. Safeguard is not favored among the seasoned contractors. I will tell you that I was with them about 8 yrs or so, but stopped sometime around 2013 or 14. They like all the order mills have gotten unmanageable by any reasonable standards. I know it's hard to hear, especially if you really need the work, but I'd walk if I were you. Any company willing to waste that much of your time and ignore your correspondence already shows a lack if respect for you, and that's before they owe you a bunch of money.

Failing that test was the best thing that could have happened to you sir. Not knocking you in any way, but if your knowledge of the industry is lacking, you would've sooner than later found yourself liable for something not reported on your inspections. This is a game of gotcha and Safeguard wrote the playbook on how to get condtractors to pay for their criminal operation.

I have taken those kinds of tests for other jobs and once you fail it your done for. There is no re-taking. It's to test your integrity. I've tried answering the questions different ways both being honest and even giving the answers I thought they wanted...but the only way I was able to pass was to have my GF take it for me.

This coming from a guy who picks up the money you dropped on the floor and gives it back to you. Who refuses to do work that does not need to be done, clearlyu shows that it doe not exist, only to go back another day and see they sent someone else do it. Who once in awhile gets the wrong change back, way more than I even paid to begin with, and gives it back, then gets slapped by the GF who passed the stupid test to begin with.
