While social media platform ate a great source of information. ..
Why does everyone just post...
ABC Company anybody heard of them???
How providing some information some of us actually investigate and research these fly-by-nights
Providing a phone number website. ...which 9 times out of 10 turn out to be a Facebook page or an email account
Also if there is a company that requires an extra look-see send the information over
Have a good day

It's hard to fully understand your post, but I think I disagree. I feel posting questions on a job related forum and/or on social media is an excellent way to gather information when researching a company, I think weighable information can and should be gathered from wherever you can get it. However, that posted question should never be the only research you do into a potential client, especially in this industry.

When you see someone asking about a certain company here, how do you know that they aren't also conducting other research? I think most business people are capable of doing their own due diligence.

Iíve already told you more than I know.
