Safeguard...why did I even try?

Volume is slow for my other clients so I figured I would see what our old friends at SG had to say and just a few minutes ago I had a conference call with a recruiter named Heather Davis. I was telling Heather about the issues we have had in the past with SG and the issue of being forced to do bid cut orders came up. She proceeded to tell me that even if I justifiably bid something for $100 and their client was only willing to pay $5 then I had to do it no matter what. I had no right to refuse the bid cut without a charge back. I asked Heather if she was familiar with dictatorships and slavery and informed her that the charge back practice in this case is pretty much the same thing or at they very least a combination of both. I also informed Heather that it was also very possibly illegal.

What I didn't inform Heather of is the fact that I am in a one party state meaning I have an app on my phone that records all phone conversations. I really wish there was something I could do with this conversation. I will save it for future use just in case but the nerve of Heather and SG to think they can still legally force people to do work is beyond me and why this industry has been dying a slow agonizing death.

Oh well...
