How many people on here have put a lien on a property for strictly lawn services?

Ive read that here in Florida you cant a lein a property for lawn service, but if you also planted trees, plants, etc you can. You have to make an Improvement to a property and routine maint. (Grass and shrub trimming) is not leinable.
Has anyonr successfully leined a property for lawn cuts only and won??

I haven't but considered it on one client but they were mostly pre sale houses so I didn't. Liening a property still owned by a homeowner sounded like a nightmare to me. Are these pre sale properties or actually owned by the bank?

Depends on your state laws.

If state law says you have to make actual physical improvements to a property then you are SOL for grass cuts.

Professionals are people who can do their job when they don't feel like it.
Amateurs are people that can't do their job even when they do feel like it.

Yes you need to check your local laws....
Now if your client is located in Florida.....then you can take them to court there....
