Chargeback and Upload Question

I have read the horror stories about the chargebacks a year after you do a property and/or when you quit working for certain vendors.

And how some companies use a system that is a nightmare to upload pictures with.

I am looking at signing up with a few more companies in my area and am trying to figure out who to avoid.

So lets hear who is bad and good. I know Safeguard and PK Management (whom I have never heard anything good about) have quite a bit of work in my area so I am very reluctant to work for either of them.

But what about other companies?

Gypsos depending on what department you can get into Safeguard might be worth your while. Do they have some problems? Hell yes, most companies out there do. Preservation pricing is a lot better than REO or grass with them, and if you follow their policies and know what you're doing you can minimize chargeback issues and other headaches. I'll assume form your number of posts that you have experience, but if you've never worked with Safeguard before I'd consider look at their pricing, their zone size in your area, etc.

Info on Safeguard

Do work for SG in North Carolina .
The volume is almost to much for me to handle and the Pay is about what all the Nationals are .
They pay me like clockwork every Monday and I've only had one Chargeback in 5 years .
Now I give them what they want. They want 78 pictures of a toilet with antifreeze in it I give it to them. 25v Pics of a Lock change . You got it .l
Bids are the money maker here and I get a bunch approved .
Love tarping roofs
So my life is like most of you all . Do the stupid BS all day
and upload Pictures of me doing the Stupid BS all night
Then do it again tomorro

I am in Central Florida.

I know the Safeguard properties I run across around here still look like they need to have a trash out done. Driveways covered in grass for a foot around the edges, lots of debris in the yard, never had a string trimmer used on them and they get mowed about once every two months whether they need it or not.

Safeguard asked me last year to be a vendor, but the area was ridiculously large. I would have to travel through Orlando to get from one end to the other in one direction and use back roads (45 mph) to go end to end in the other. Either way it was a 2 - 3 hour drive because of roads or traffic and naturally I am located in the top corner of the area so I said no can do.

Have not seen any PK management work in my area. I hear that is mostly Orlando. But a guy I used to work for did sign up with them and made no profit fast. He bought all new equipment to to start doing trash-outs and emptied one of his warehouses to hold all the "loot" he was sure he was going to find. He spent about $70,000 on equipment and last I heard he had parked it in the warehouse he had emptied.

I have seen FAS signs. Work is meh. Their subs do not use edgers or trimmers. Just run it over with a mower.

Five brothers work I see is the same as FAS quality.

I see others but no signs posted so it is anybody's guess who is doing them.

I have inquired among some of the other larger companies and regionals and have been told by some they have work and some they do not.

Just trying to put together a plan to approach companies.
