Copyright Pictures

Another way to get paid for pics....???

We "may" have done this a few years ago... .49/pic. No auction house or anyone else could use our pics with the copyright watermark.

I want to know also!!!!
We may be getting into the FNMA contract again about 1200 photos per initial.
I would definitely do this so they would have to pay a royalty...

I'D say first look at your contract and it spells out that " Once you upload anything to their server it is their property". Come on do you REALLY think they would allow this !! A realtor was just fuming over this same scenario that he takes the pics for the listing national and they inturn sell them to zillow, forclosure.com ETC. He got NOWHERE trying to get a royality

Splinter,

Give it a shot? Worked for us at $49/pic... Max was 100 pics. If Zillow used any of our pics a simple letter/call had them removed in nanoseconds. We never had much Zillow problems BUT we were constantly calling the auction houses..they still got removed

LOL,funny story. Had a gal at either Five Brothers or some similar outfit send over an email stating that we did not send a sufficient amount of photos for the work order and to return to the property and retake some more. We always take more than we send in for our own files and for backups. Anyway, we sent in what she wanted within 10 minutes of her message. She immediately responds, demanding to know why we didn't send them in to begin with, and that we send in all photographs taken at the time of the work orders from here on out, as they were the property of their company. Of course we complied.......

I believe faststone will add a water mark.
