Bound to happen eventually

With all of the driving we all do I shouldn't be surprised but my crew was in an accident last week and my husband ended up in a coma for 5 days. If this was tough before it's damn near impossible after a setback like this. All the work we've ever done has involved lots of driving but this just brings home the fact that the rewards of this industry are not worth the risks. Not sure where we will go from here. Wish me luck...I'll need it!

Smile

I'll say Godspeed and throw out a prayer for your husband. That's worth more than luck. Hang in there.

That tough, I hope your insurances come thru.

After a wreck in 11 that totaled my only work pickup I was down for most of a week until a neighbor out of the kindness of their heart loaned me their pickup.
I know some of the feelings you are going thru. But I did not have the added stress of medical issues. I hope your hubby and crew make a full recovery.

In the aftermath of the wreck I quickly saw a glaring deficiency in my business model that relied completely on having a work pickup.
As soon as I could afford it I picked up a backup work truck.

Professionals are people who can do their job when they don't feel like it.
Amateurs are people that can't do their job even when they do feel like it.
