Stupidest thing yet

Since I decided to get out of this rat race I have been doing other things. But I recently was asked to provide a bid for a job. Tell you some people have absolutly no common sense and I let them know.
We bid the job and of course they sent it with an adjusted price that we responded no way. Then they tell me we have to rebid it with explanation. No we are not and our explanation is we never gave permission to reduce the bid.
Now here is the best line. This is when I told them they were insane.
" If you do not rebid the job and we send another contractor out and they will not do it for the allowable, you will be back charged for what they bill".
Yea, my bid was too high but somebody else can charge 5 times what I was and you expect us to pay. Go take a walk.

I am scheduling a basement drylock right now because the original contractor that worked for me didn't do his job right and I get to pay to drylock this basement. This one is not the Brothers either.

Pretty easy to figure it is them by the MO. Refuse to do a no charge bid and they threaten to backcharge you and pay another guy to write it up, lol.

start filing claims against them and place leins on properties that crap will stop....
