Yup got two memos regarding this. We have to start March 3rd.
Maybe if the dam hack contractors took a few minutes to verify they were at the right properties instead of just assuming and then trashing them out or doing what ever is on the work order this wouldn't have happened.

As much as we hate it I really can't blame the companies for requiring this. I can just imagine how many lawsuits there have been because someone entered the wrong house. With the geo coding/GPS it will make it hard for a contractor to play stupid and say well I thought that was the right house.

We always check the town's online database to know what house we are supposed to go to. So unless the town is assessing the wrong properties it is a sure bet you are at the right house.

My GPS routinely takes me to the house four or five lots down the street or on the wrong side of the street. How are they going to handle that?

The banks and nationals have no idea where some of the houses are, or they send us to the wrong address. I don't see how Geo coding helps, other than charging the clients more for another service, while still paying us nothing for increasing our operating cost.
