contractors unite

I am fairly new on the scene found out enough with in the last two years that there are too many companies that if they would just pay fair and be straight up with the contractors that they could really build a good business, dont get me wrong i work with several that i am pleased with , but the real back bone of this industry is the contractors and keeping the prices up where they need to be. i am a regional covering parts of texas and louisiana , is there a group other than this where larger contractors can come together and maybe join together to creat a company that is fair giving more responsability to the contractors but paying them what they are worth?

Welcome to the board.

To answer your question there are a few groups and boards out there.

I would love for a NATIONAL to spring up comprised of experienced quality contractors. The thing is as long as there are nationals there will be regionals and as long as there are regionals there will be hacks trying to maximize profit after 2/3 of the money has gone to the cubicle monkeys.
