Here is why
Here is why I keep preaching to have at least some local customers with your P&P business model.
For me local customers means lawn care and snow removal. You may have different skills and do other work.
Nothing wrong with that. Planning to rely solely on P&P is a plan to fail at some point from what I've seen.
P&P is a shaky business model as most veterans of the industry will tell you.
Any way, here is why. 2/28 I invoice for the month's snow removal. I send out 99.9% of my invoices via fax or email to save stamps.
This also cuts down on mail time.
On 3/1 I have $2100 worth of checks in my mail box.
You cannot beat that working in the commercial market and it helps to even out the cash flow.
Professionals are people who can do their job when they don't feel like it.
Amateurs are people that can't do their job even when they do feel like it.
