Thumbs up When is enough

When did you get out of safeguard? there rules suck, there flat rate sucks. we use to be able to bill 75-100 for shut off valve now its 45? go back and pick up trash in yard for free cause the QC person was out there and we just lost our snow pack and refresh is due in a week. they have got so off what they started there business for.. now its what can we sucker this person for.. not sure hows it legel that they dont pay your invoice cause you are missing a photos of you wiping down a sink on your dewint.. all this has got stupid..

they pricing has gone down hill to the point after you go to the dump youare breaking even.. whats the point!! anyone else throw in the towel recently? anyone going threw the same problems.

we have been doing this for 6 years and the work they want for the little money is not worth it.. sitting in front of a laptop for 6 hrs after you get home. dealing with there rude staff, there idoit qc people and there internal follow ups cause they see a fuzz on the floor.. is out of control!

Not just them every national is beyond reprehensible this is my last summer dealing with the insanity. Somebody said on a thread earlier that one day a contractor is going to go postal at one of these places, only a matter of time. 35 pictures for a lawn cut paying 20 is where I say bye bye. If the suits up top would listen to what the veteran contractors are saying this industry could be fixed. It's getting sucked into a black hole and I'm not going with it. Gonna spend the next 4 months demeaning and being sarcastic to every cube monkey I deal with and doing everything in my power to make them squirm and feel stupid, because I don't give a flying fu(k if they threaten me. This is going to be fun!!

Yup

They let a vendor go that has been there for 10 yrs they were fed up started doing work like the new vendors and they caned there ass saying there homes were under par and they will cut ties with them.. our work use to be the top but these new kids that are in the came are leaving hardware, no hazards etc.. they want to that direction more power to them.. they are not even thinking in the box no more. they are worried about a burnt out light bulb rather then the vendor causing damages at every house due to faulty wints etc..

i give up

sill in but not for long

I understand your frustration going through it myself. Talked to an inspector the other day for safeguard he told me that they train them to nit pick everything and if he turned in to many reports saying all is well that he could loose his job. My question was what about the contractor that did good work and placed bids to fix things with no approval ? Hes reply not my problem its ether me ( inspector) or the contractor and he said I need my job. So yes I will be kicking them to the curb before long but got to waitch when I do it the pricing with them and all of the others are so apart from what hud allows the contractor has little chance to make money. The biggest thing that really gets me none of them negotiate any more good luck to you in what ever diction you make.

I do not work for SG! But sounds like the same issues I`m running into with Cyprexx! I have had it! I reduced my coverage area and will slowly back out of the work. Trying to not have much with them before stopping completely quieting!

We have so many BS inspection reports by the inspectors in our area the Cyprexx doesn't even take seriously any more.

I made it clear that if I make a special trip to fix something and find nothing wrong someone is paying me a trip charge.

is to always find something wrong, in addition to the QC, and make a few bucks if you can. You will never win this little game they like to play on defense.

hi

it's real simple fellow contractors learn to say NO or stop complaining because if you dont say NO then you deserve what you get.
