For processing your photos I use http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm.
Free and fast. Faststone has multiple products available.

Cool Camera

I use the Nikon coolpic 580, You wont like it as it take too long to get a sat signal. If you turn on and off your cam 3-4-5 plus per job you will loose 10-25 minutes a job. That is very large amount of time. I hear there is a P110 very durable (underwater, shock proof, cold proof ect..) for under $200 and a lot of guys I hear like them. The only reason I don't like them is you have to take the bat out every time to charge and this ruins the waterproof seal fast and is very tight but signals fast. Has no moving lens or shutter mech. and is a fixed camera but for the work we do should work ok.

I've changed out all of our cameras to Samsung Galaxy S3 phones. Otterbox.com makes a waterproof case for this phone (Armor Series) which is nearly indestructible. You can take photos 5 times as fast. We also use DropBox to automatically send the photos into the office real-time. One of the best decisions I've ever made for my company.
