Safeguard doesn't mess with us too much. We do have to deal with the Lower level minions and reopens. The reopens for issues on their end have been occurring more frequently lately, but, nothing outrageous. it's mostly smooth sailing for us.

That's another one I would have escalated. That's ridiculous. I give safeguard credit for having competent middle management, but, the minions are not educated well at all.

I have a few stories I'd be willing to share through PM, but not on here.

Try the Search feature or even google. There isn't a more hated company in the business.

Every experience we have ever had with them has been awful and we have never actually worked for them. I get 10emails a year asking us to work for SG. There is no way I would ever work for them. The pricing sucks, the QC is ridiculous, they chargeback. I could go on and on.

I don't get how their reps get away with all the crap I see around here. I saw your work and it looked great! If they aren't paying on that I have no clue how half these jokers get paid?

Yes this is true these companies read these boards and don't like it not one bit, but you do have some anonymity here. they can guess but its just a guess as to you are..

Its a good thing none of my pics have GPS codes on them..Ha. my location is in the south, i have multiple clients again and yes i have been tracked down from this site to my linkedin account too. But of course i really dont try to hide who i am too, cuz i don't have too.

But i have been asked do i read and post from this site a few times. Their are those here that have been confronted about their postings.. Cough, cough..

But on a side note the money really isn't worth the hassles that come with this work. The liability is out of this world, marring the mob has more rewards than this line of work. And many times you will live fear of losing what you think you have locked up like a bug in the rug when in reality it is nothing more than a illusion. Those that are in this industry are self starters, wanting to control their future, wanting riches that has long sense pasted them by.

I have posted here many times that if what you are saying is factual, there is nothing that can be done about it.

As far as "competent middle management"; if they were as you say then the "minions" wouldn't be such morons. I knew several upper level people at Safeguard who were pleasant, easy to talk to and that I felt seemed to know what they were doing. That didn't stop their departments from looting contractors and bungling work orders and invoices. Lots of contractors lost businesses that depended on being paid for the work of that department.
If I had such "managers" working for me, I'd have fired them and let them pay for their screwups out of their own pockets.

The difference between a thief and a robber is that the former does it behind your back and the latter does it to your face.
