When you signed the contract to work for Safeguard, or whomever is auditing you, there was a clause that subjects you to all of their rules and regulations, audits included. Audits and inspections happen in a lot of other industries. As long as you have all your QC sheets, training, and business documents on file, your good. When our audit occured, all they physically wanted to see was QC sheets, and how we assigned our work. This isn't exactly a hard request. Our Audit lasted about an hour, and was pretty painless. Just be nice, and know what you are talking about. Might as well get used to it, because this is going to be the norm with all the CFPB regulations going into effect.
