Advice Please

I've been contacted by AFAS and United Field Services for REO contracting services. Can you guys and gals give me some insight about these companies? I worked for AMS and they were pretty good (here in New Jersey) but when Safescrew took over I was horrified with their prices and the labor intensive uploading work orders. SG got me for about 4 thousand so I can say I paid for my education.

I'm in the same boat as you. Like AMS routines and did well.

AFAS has been OK, though I suspect new contractors get all the jobs no one else wants, judging from my limited experience with them. They have however paid on time and with few issues. There uploading (Pruvan) is more complicated than (Vorticity), but it can be mastered with some practice. Fortunately. I avoided Safeguard. Their pricing is better than AMS. If AFAS gives you acceptable volume, you should do OK. They are not set up to screw you like Safeguard, and don't require special insurance or E&O. Watch your coverage area, because they will send you to it's limits right away. AFAS does not give you an exclusive area as much as AMS did, and has multiple contractors covering the same area.

SG is one of the worst companies to work with. they show know regards for their contractors. maybe if the banks started getting feedback from the contractors on theses conditions SG might lose a major contract or two.

FNMA inspections in my area, just to cause SG a few headaches. Is that wrong?
