how to remove a vehicle

I recieved a work order that wants me to store everything in the residence for 45 days before disposal .On the property is a vehicle and i was hoping someone had feedback as to how this is supposed to be handled.I operate out of Washington state.Not sure
if others have different regulations

You will need to stash the vehicle in a yard somewhere and then make reasonable attempts to locate the owner. I'm in Florida so laws may be different in your state. Check with your DMV. Once you can document that the vehicle has in fact been abandoned then you may dispose of it as you wish. Make sure to keep documentation of your overhead cost, ie, towing & storage, ppwk for taxes. If it's a nice vehicle you may retitle it and use it depending on the requirements of the contractor you are working for or just dispose of it to cover your costs.
