HomeStar Llc. Experiences

What experiences has anyone had with Nationwide Remediation Group & Construction Services LLC dba HomeStar LLC? They are requesting I sign up to work for them in Texas (they sought me out) but the BBB has many complaints out of Florida. How is their track record on paying vendors, quick turn around when you call from the field and customer service?

I seem to remember doing a 30K rehab job for them back in 2011/2012. At first they weren't willing to meet my terms of a deposit, so I told them I won't do business with someone that doesn't have any real skin in the game. They coughed up a deposit (only 10% if I remember right). It was frustrating on the communication end, but getting paid wasn't a problem.

They still owe me $8000 from 2 years ago. I'm never going to see it. They owe a lot of people a lot of money.

If this is the same Homestar/Energy REO out of twin cities in Minnesota, don't waste your time. They owe a ton of people money and have been discussed on this site numerous times. Try the search function.

Any Regional or National that seeks you out, seems to not be worth the time to respond. Nobody seeks them out, so they have to look for new people to work for them.
