Servicelink (LPS) scoring system

Did they modify it to where it is nearly impossible to be gold? According to their verbage, invoice dates may differ from SL invoice dates, meaning when we update w.o does not mean crap, it is when they get around to invoicing the job is what goes on the scorecard. Anyone having these issues? We where gold for years until they changed their scoring system. Now it says we have 13% late orders, which is impossible, we never have any late orders.

Yeah we have the same problem, but it has to do with supplier love note as we would call them. Supplier is the processors in India that process the work, giving do dates or getting extensions because of weather or 3rd party is useless, they are going to get the percent one way or the other. We've never been on gold always below so it never been a big deal for us, we just expect the fact that we are going to get hit with a 23% or 25% right of the top.

But the volume is so large its really hard to bitch about it, plus the fact you can be damn sure the money is going to be there on time every time. So it make up for the fact the discount rate went up. And since they moved most of their operation to Colorado thing have improved hugely.

When we call we get someone always and the reps are much nicer too. For the most part their one of the better company's out there to work for. plus one the terms of my return to them was a CE wavier.. So im pretty damn happy with them right now. I only have to run a CE for things over 1k so its a huge time saver for us in the office.

I guess from the lack of reply's on your post you can tell not many here work direct for them.

I am not direct, but they are one of the few companies I am willing to do anything for. Add M&M on that list and the list of companies I enjoy working for is complete.

we work direct for them and love it!!!! the CE thing does take time but I tell you what, we were working thru another company that was direct with them and when we got on direct I was shocked at how much the other company was making off of me. like it was said a few posts back by another member, we have never been gold eather but the volume is huge

We are late on thing all the time. We do the work when it makes sense with our routes. The territory we cover would never work if we tried to stay gold. I could cut my territory in half and stay gold but we wouldn't make any money.

Is what he meant to say is he hasn't turned in a work order on time in years.

LOL....

We never have any late, and have been gold for years, but according to their new scoring we have 13% late... Kinda pisses me off, but the good out weighs the bad by far! I would much rather 10% more in pocket, and the guarantee our score is not effecting our workload. As you say, we are pretty busy, but could always use more work.

So, in an effort to adjust to their new scoring system im adding at least one more crew within the month to get these orders done the day they come in, which should give their processors plenty of time to update by the due date.
