Habitat For Humanity

Had a thought today that some of these houses are just about impossible to get into conveyance condition. Possibly better off being donated to Habitat For Humanity & taking the tax write off. Just an opinion.

There was a foreclosure about 15 miles away that the bank donated to habit for humanity. They didn't bother sticking a dime into it. Sold it for $10k and took the money to use on their other projects.

I also was asked to bid repairs on a house that the bank was "considering" fixing up and donating it to the wounded warrior project. Not sure what happened with that one.

We've remodeled 3 houses in the last year that were donated to wounded veterans. I think it's called Heroes on the Homefront or something like that. Two from Chase and one from NRT. One was a complete rehab, $60k.
