Anyone do rental property maintenance for large companies?

Before I even finish writing the first sentence, I'll let you know I'm against this.

Big companies are buying up properties and renting them out. There are 3 major companies, let's call them "Nationals". They already have a horrible reputation with the renters for being slumlords, poor reps with neighborhoods (see Nextdoor.com) and so on.

And now they want to hire me. **** no. Hell no, Hell no ****ing way. Hell ****.

So this email was going to ask others opinion and I might be surprised to learn there is a golden calf to worship down by the river.

I'm in Colorado and the economy is off the hook good. I am limited in sales merely by the worker's I'm able to hire and keep.

I haven't posted in a long time so I hope my old friends are prospering and making babies or at least practicing at it.

If business is truly that good, why tie yourself to a crap company that will soil your reputation by association?

Pass...

I don't see why not though. Another point is if economy is good, why not to work independently and do some work for big guys and see how it plays out

Actually the majority of my work right now comes from a property management company , local not one of these supposed bank type companies and business is great, I am currently netting a third more in earnings at this point than I did last year and the work is fun and simple, we do no preservation work anymore and I look at the daily emails I get from the regionals and scoff , sorry not interested in crawling around in filth so I can hope to get paid in 30 days, every Week I get a call or text saying there's a check ready for you.
