FAS Lawns

Have any of you seen this. My recuts on their website filled up the screen (around 30 cuts). My guy that cuts yards called in sick yesterday morning. No problem just do the next day ,wasn`t behind on them(all were due the 30th).I sit down last night to do the lawn list for today and recheck FAS website all but five yards are gone. searched all property none have sold. I sent e-mail to my lawn cont. and get a out of office message back. Glad my guy called in sick, I would have been really pissed if me had mowed all eight lawn!

oh I got an e-mail from a guy there on one yard I just got(reassigned to me)asking when I would do. This is the only property left out of the eight on the lawn cut list. Guess I should jump into my truck and go mow this one reassign yard(ya right)

I have seen them double post a yard service to multiple vendors and then yank them from the last guy to get them. I also know they will move work over to a new guy they promised *** too at your expense. Some people have no clue that you have to schedule and make time slots and people available and they think they can just pull them at the drop of a hat.
I've called companies like FAS and Safeguard and just said "Hey! Where are the work orders? We completed everything and we need to submit our invoices!" They usually stammer and stutter and they mysteriously show up in a few hours. Then we go out and mow them.

We just started with SG for GC for so-called recuts only to find that they've never had initials. Then you look on the site and they're not on the website ... we're wasting gas going out to properties that have never been touched. They say call from the site but nobody picks up when you call. You can't stand around waiting. Today I get an email saying they're issuing a charge back on a property we never been to! I dispute it and tell them to charge somebody else. So you're fighting over nickels and dimes when it's not worth the time you're spending on it. They know it and you're exactly right ... they are sending the same properties to several vendors and seeing what sticks and what doesn't. We're exiting this business and are being selective in who we work with and transitioning to rehab/remodel work.

Pay attention to your checks from Safeguard. You may think you made $105 for that grass cut but when your check arrives it may say $37.50. Why? Because somewhere down the road, maybe in 2010/2011, someone cut the grass, and now it shows up in their system as a recut. So, multiply that x every mow you think is an initial...15, 50, 125...Yep, you will spend hours chasing money and whatever you don't catch stays in their pocket. Get how the game is played now?

I'm seeing many uncut lawns. They are high too. They wait for violations and issue orders to cut for regs pricing.
