A lot of the lurkers are reps with nationals and regionals. Yes, there are quite a few birds perched above watching and listening to the goings on. More than one member has had to change their screen name because they were contacted and told to stop posting information about a certain company they work for. There have been and are threats made. Years ago, I made it a point to always mention the company that was involved in a story about some backhanded dealing they committed against a sub. Safeguard, Five Brothers, etc. I didn't care. Everytime their name is used it climbs the google search engine. The law is that there is no expectation of privacy here, and repeating first hand accounts isn't libel or slanderous if it is true.
Once in a while, the owner or CEO of a management firm will come on and try battling it out with members over their pricing and tactics. A few are legit and offer insight; others are just bottom feeders and get offended that others know it.

Some are just new contractors that read the threads and realize they aren't the only poor slobs getting screwed. Some of them don't post because they likely deserve said screwing and don't want to speak up. Others just read and read and read. A lot of threads just rehash the same points.

Another group, probably a third, tried opening a porn site and the virus they downloaded linked them here. That's some of IT's doing. I guess whatever it takes to grow the numbers.

your alright :)

you mean i can say safeguard is the crap hole of the toilet.... there is a website called broken glass? that ex employees say how horrible it is working there and how they threaten you to work harder for less pay..

I suppose the web crawl picks up the names when you add a new post... If one of our stories can stop someone going into business with these clown more power to us.

I learned my lesson!! The clowns that are vendors in my area lie, cheat, steal and do kick back to get into new zones....

if i was a crappy vendor i would have stayed.. but i stand behind my good name! And im not going to go change my business name in a year or 2 cause i burned my name into the ground. Talk to you later... i need a red bull

Only company that was good to work for was FAS.. they were fair tell they got a new field QC person that wanted to wear tight pants and show how big his balls are for the company... then they lost Fannie! Im just rambling cause im watching my siding company install the section above the garage and the weather here sucks today..

I know i post alot but i like hearing other peoples stories.. I have learned new things from people on here.. But safeguard is crap.. I need a red bull now...

Funny you should mention FAS as being decent. I was contacted by assurant (old FAS) to complete work for them and a few people commented here saying I should stay away
