Cost Estimator ... Really ?

This estimator doesn't take in effect the things Identify as a way of making money.

One location of the property, service time based on location of property, and my most important supply and demand of contractors able to service the property.

I do not understand why we are giving up every angle we have to make money, we have to jump through hoops to do this type of work.

Company x told me I had to use a estimator on all there orders, even wanted me to remove a half demolished patio (12 by 22) for debris only prices.

I didn't even argue, I went home contacted my insurance had them removed as additional insured, delete their app off my phone and computer. When they called which they continue to do almost a month later, I let them know based on how I validate their business there on cash upfront only, said good luck and hang up before they can respond, I really only answer the calls when I want to. And as of last week they had paid all the work I have preformed for them, I guess I got lucky but it took them over 60 days didn't really expect it just gave the money to my wife for her coupon kick she seems to be on right now.

Cost Estimators and BATF are an unacceptable

combination. You have to be a few bricks short of a load to operate a business not knowing what a job is going to pay, until after it's complete. On the other hand all the companies paying HUD/discount are going to the model. Does any company even issue specific priced/bid approved work orders anymore. These line item, BATF everything you see orders are ridiculous, not only do you not know what a job pays, but they will try to hold you responsible for things you don't do, years down the road. It really is time to get out. It's the "hooray for me FU model".
