So will Fannie Mae change the inspection landscape?

With the new mandated requirements coming in to full motion on January 1st, 2016 will others follow in their pathway? Will this mean an end to the low ball junk $3.00 drive by occupancy checks?

Lets hope so. I get a lot more than $3.00 but still not near enough to keep my interest anymore. I'm demanding more money every time I'm asked to do more. I'm just doing this to gain my experience. I want to get away from the nationals and their service providers. They want me to do grass cuts this spring and IDK if I'm getting in bed with the devil. I may just start advertising for the private sector offering cleaning and lawn services. I was making pretty good money when I started in this business but like everyone else I'm getting the shaft. I'm not even able to get a pizza and a beer at the end of the week. In fear that me next invoice with be shorted for some reason. Still can't get a straight answer every time I'm shorted. I'm filling the pockets of higher ups and I'm sitting here thinking come on Hot Lotto!!!

I can't speak for your invoices being cut for 1 reason or another, but grass cuts are where it is at. I hate them and didn't do them in the beginning, but when I realized the volume that came with it and realized I wasn't going out to just do 2-3, the money started rolling in. I'm not talking about the $25 recuts though. I mean you can make some money, but my min price now is $40 for a 5k sq ft lot. If you have the right equipment it can be a 1 man job and you can still handle 20+ cuts a day without killing yourself. Depending on your area of coarse.

I think the fed is finally stepping up to the plate here,

probably an intent to smoke out and identify the problems.
