Mold

Anyone know of a mold course near Wisconsin? Theres a lot of online teaching but I would prefer a class/hands on teaching. Or if you think the online teaching is worth the cost?

Here you go

CHECK OUT THIS SITE:
http://www.iicrc.org/education-certi...urse-schedule/
The course you want is: Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
but you will have to take this course first as it is a prerequisite:
Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
Classes are expensive but worth the $$$
Good Luck!

Say hi to the Barker Hammer guys!!

Personally I would HIGHLY recommend going to a "flood house" for your WRT Certs. Nothing like hands-on for newbies +++++ it's a blast/fun!

hey, its good to see someone looking to learn how to remediate properly, to be honest I was expecting another "how much to bid for bleach and killz?" thread hahahah. anyway I recently took the WRT and ASD ( APPLIED STRUCTURAL DRYING ) cources thrue the IICRC and wannabe is 100% correct, the "flood house" was great. good luck with your classes prepare to get slammed with information.

I agree, AIH. Mold is mold, not "discoloration"
