Greetings from WA State

Hello all,

I'm a former infantry veteran with few skills that transfer into the "civilized" world. Looking to gain insight on running a business where I can make some money, be independent, and work alone.

I just found this forum last night and have been reading posts and trying to learn the business. The company I work for isn't very helpful in helping me learn the art of bidding, so I am chugging along winning small repairs, landscaping, and inspections.

I started P&P work by answering a Craigslist ad 4 mos. ago out of desperation.

I see now why everyone suggests getting out as quickly as possible.

Thanks to everyone who posts info on this site. Maybe you can remember when you first started out and were drowning. This forum is like a life preserver for me.

Hi Prop,

I live in the North Olympic Peninsula, and service Jefferson, Mason, Kitsap and some Pierce.

Thanks for the welcome.

Our clients are constantly tying to get us over on the peninsula so i know there is a good work load out there the problem is getting over there and back every day is not very practical....good luck out there man
