Hello from MO

Hello All,

After 13 years of IT contracting (and some residential construction experience), I decided to switch gears and move to property preservation work. Just going through the initial investigative/business planning stage.

I've already had disconcerting experience with a national and I'm haven't even started work yet.

I have some questions and concerns but that can wait for another thread.

Nice to have a place to discuss common issues, thanks for letting me in (door closed behind me).

Don't ever let the door close behind you. Especially in this industry. Spend a lot of time reading here and learning before you make any financial commitment to entering this industry, times aren't so good right now........

Hello

I am an IT guy too. I've been in and out of the PNP and REO business for a total of 4 years. The banks arent spending money like they used to and their are more hands out to take cuts than ever before. I wish I would have been old enough to see 1500 flat rate trashouts in the old days. I have one client that is a bank and I make decent money but they dont give much work , all my other clients are nationals that take large cuts. Hope everything works out for you.
