Oh hey, cool.

I'm a newbie at this thing and looking to get a PP company started, but I've been reading through dozens of posts on this forum and I am no fool.

So what is it that your company offers that other companies don't? I think that's the gist of it, and the only tidbit of information the folks here want to know.

What are your terms? Where are you located? How are you more fair and just and honest than the others out there?

Thanks for the introduction. The next step would be to post a price list.

Pricing for us is directed by industry regulations. We work with HUD, FNMA, FMAC, and VA. We expect our contractors to be familiar with all of the pricing for those entities and bill us the allowables. We then take the agreed upon discount, which is how we make our money. We are a net 30 payer (I would be lying if I said that we didn't get to 45 days at peak times, but we try our hardest to get you paid in the 30 days). It is VERY important to us that our sub contractors are getting compensated for the work they are doing, because for us to be able to have continued success, we need you all to be successful. So, if you are doing a job for us that is removing one cubic yard of debris (HUD property) we want to see a bill for $50, less our 20% (or there abouts) discount and a total of $40 that we owe you. We try very hard to communicate with our contractors in the field to ensure that invoices and estimates don't get cut/reduced.

No, no...we are National Field Representatives (not National Field Network). We are based in Claremont, NH (3 offices here) and have another office in Sarasota, FL.

The problem I have always ran into for companies like NFR, NFN and etc is actually getting work from them. I have been signed up with NFN for about a year and a half now and haven't received one work order.

That is just it...a lot depends on our current coverage situation and where the properties are that our customers have. The one "for certain" thing in this industry is that nothing in certain -- in terms of where the work will be. And like I said, we have been at this for 24+ years so we do have a very large contractor base, but still do run into areas that we do need coverage/help in.
