Western NC new here :)

Hey everyone.
Iíve been looking on the forums for about two weeks now and finally decide to sign up. So hereís a little about meÖ. Iím from western NC. (Ash) I use to do a lot of sub-contractor work for a construction company but had some health problems and ended up losing my contracts. I was out of work for almost two years. Once I was back to myself I started working a factory job. Wasnít ideal but we weíre broke from me being out of work and had to keep a roof over our heads. Itís just not for me, making 12 bucks an hour and scraping to get by each month. So Iím looking into doing some PP work now. So if anyone can give me some advice in the western nc area that would be awesome. Nice to meet you all and look forward to chatting!

How's it going so far ? I just moved from the Charlotte area and remodeled a home from the 1700's for my growing family. We relocated just north of Raleigh and have made the deshion to get into REO and p&p work after having the desire for a few. Years now. Let me know what you have found out so far and how it's going

Welcome. You should post some pics of your remodel. You probably have a better chance earning a living restoring and remodeling than getting deep in the preservation game. The private side is much better.
