I responded to a Craigslist ad

Professionals are people who can do their job when they don't feel like it.
Amateurs are people that can't do their job even when they do feel like it.

First I asked for advice on a forum.

  1. I asked who the best companies to work for were.
  2. I asked How much to charge to install a carport.
  3. I asked if I could make up for low pricing with volume.

I ignored all the advice and went to work for a crooked regional.

I then got back on that forum and spewed venom and hate at said regional and asked other regionals to email me their new hire packet.

It was a fun trip down memory lane. Now I have to get back to responding to Craigslist ads. If I am going to make up for it in volume we will have to work for 5 regionals.

I have never "started" in the property preservation

business. Preservation work is just one part of my business. Sometimes it's a major part, and sometimes it's just a few orders.

Right now I don't have enough properties in some areas, so I have to make a paid fishing trip out of it about three days a week. It's going to be a good spring.

I honestly could not imagine starting in the property preservation scam as ones first experience with contracting.

Worked with a company that did it for 3.5years, wanted to kill the 2nd owner
Applied to a craigslist ad and waited. One day orders came in and I quit.
Starting off I was getting $20-150 checks a week HAHA! After 1.5years of working alone and eventually getting a stable few thousand checks a week I got into a few nationals.

Honestly the craigslist days were SOOOO much easier (minus the lack of equipment I didnt have) Its hard to make it fun these days, I used to love it and its no bs.
