Some bleeding heart lawyer some where will construe that as unjust imprisonment and have your head on a platter.

JoeInPI We're in northern Michigan, we don't even lock our doors.

Best construction story was back when I was working through college. We were doing some home rehabs in a seedy area of downtown Lansing. My boss was taking tools out for the day, and noticed a bunch of people sitting out on their porches. He says 'watch this....' He then loads the Paslode and fires about 7 nails into a piece of wood. Look up, all of the porches were empty, all you heard were screen doors slamming shut.

IPS I am in an open carry state and we have a lot of backwoods and remote locations. There have only been a few times that we ran into people squatting/looting at the residence. When they see us they have always ran in the other direction. There are times that we go to remote properties and think about some hillbilly trying to stand his ground, but has not happened yet. I always have the s&w 642 in tow. Nice and lightweight. a 1911 could get get in the way of that trimmer

ASTPROPMAINT We conceal and carry everyday. More than one. Most of our places are in the mountains where there isnt much cell phone signal, street signs or even cops. 4 wheel drive a must and big guns. We all carry to say the least at least one if not 4 lol. I like my chances having them and know we have the right to do what we can to come back home safer.

GTX63 I've been to places down south that, if you don't carry people may think there is something wrong with you.
I've been to cities like Chicago that if you carry you are liable to scare people and/or get arrested.
