Seems to be a simple tear down and removal. No fill in, install handrails on the deck. But this is my first one! What's a fair estimate for removal? About an 18' radius, drain and remove. I'm just not sure of the time frame it takes to remove one and I wanna be sure not to come up short on the labor end.

Uh, oh.........

Are you talking time frame for removal, or price?

None of us here know your skill level or speed. Can't tell you how long it'll take YOU.

Pricing?

Purchase estimating software like simsol, xactamate, repair base etc. you can get an idea of a fair price there. You shouldn't be using "amigos" for work on HUD/REO properties. If one of them gets hurt or dies on the job, your GL will not cover them. they are not bondable and shouldn't be on those properties, or this country in the first place.

A buddy of mines had a illegal working for him on a job for Safeguard. They were trimming palm trees and the amigo's line broke and he fell 2 stories to and died while in the hospital.

1. He wasn't covered to trimming tree's above 10 feet per his policy.
2. His undocumented illegal alien had no papers on him and spoke no English.
3. His insurance only covered landscape maintenance and debris removal. Not all the work he was doing.

His client needed a full report of what happened. (regional) who then sent all pertinent info to Safeguard. Not only was all of his receivables placed on hold due to non compliance, he lost all of his work, was fined 1 mil, And is currently sitting in jail. This happened 4-5 years ago. Another man is raising his kids and kissing his wife good night.

OP- I see you have been a member of CT since OCT '11. Surely you have seen the whipping noobs get when they ask pricing questions. Soon hereafter, one of the mods will chime in with the templated script about not asking pricing questions and close the thread.

$500. You may be able to recoup some of your direct costs be selling the water rather than just letting it drain off.
