·Hope someone can help. I have been trying to backfeed properties to test the systems and appliances, but have been unable to make it work. Here's what I'm doing:
Ensuring the main is off as well as all other circuits.
Using a three prong dryer cord, connect it to the generator (Ridgid 7800 Watt)
Start the generator
Flip the switch to the dryer at the panel box.
When this didn't work the first time, I went on a search for a cord to convert the 4 prong cord (which has the switch on it) to the 3 prong dryer cord, but I can't find that piece anywhere!
Suggestions on how to make this work? :blink:
