I had posted that I was in finance for a long time . I am also a woman ( this might give me away-not that I care). I feel bad for property preservation contractors who have to deal with all this crap. I for a brief moment everytday think I am being paranoid about certain companies intentions, then they do exactly what I thought they would do. I have really seen some crazy things which I wont elaborate on.
I know one thing, I can tell certain companies seem to set themselves up so they do not have to pay by not having a I dotted or a T crossed which is not really part of regulations or guidelines.
The purpose of regional companies is to create a stronghold of people tied together. When you have small llcs setting up doing work for next to nothing you can never have a fair chance to get paid nor get bullied. Because new people think they can go straight to the national, it puts everyone at the top companies mercy because you all become disposable.
One of the advantages to being a licensed industry is that is bars the entry of lower price ( below profit) new fly by night companies who are not in compliance. I will not spend another decade preaching to more people about how to be treated fairly. I have to make sure that they treat me fairly
I have never had a chargeback in my life and never intend on having one. The chargeback set up games need to stop. Especially to me. ( I see it coming)
Maybe property preservation companies are not regulated BUT there are regulatory guidelines set thru Fannie mae, Hud, state , local and federal agencies. I've watch companies on Wall st get wiped out over greed, over and over and over. The owner crying as he is handcuffed being led out the employees crying because they lost their jobs ( when they never cared about the independent contractors)
This and all industries will be the same. " Only when the tied goes out will you learn who was swimming naked".
