No, It's paint..........................Is that wall paper?
Before I went to that much work (skimming and retexturing) I would first try to "build up the edges with paint. Get a 4" heavy nap roller and hit all those edges with a good heavy/quality paint allow to dry completely and do again if needed. Just think feathering it out...but using paint rather than mud.How do i get rid of this paint edge without major work? All i can think is skim coating it and shooting another light texture on it.......
