Without trying to "price fix" here, what kind of prices do you typically charge to drain, acid wash and refill in-ground pools? I know some guys out there will do them for $250, but I have a couple of sub-contractors (with pool pop insurance) who charge between $450 to $600. Not much room to up-charge, but at least I'm covered if they float a pool.

If the guy who does it dirt cheap is insured and qualified, hire him and m/u.

The point was that the dirt cheap guys are not properly insured, otherwise, I'd have already hired them. My question to other forumites, again, is what do
you typically charge for drain & cleans?
