Has anyone done any property preservation? I have a company that is wanting me to do some work for them. First of all they are an out of state company, which I’m not too comfortable doing business with someone that I can’t show up to their office to get paid. And, second the first job they are wanting me to do for them is going to be pretty close to $30,000.00. Not too sure about this.
Any thoughts?

Go up to search in the right corner and type "Property Preservation" you'll find a lot of info there.

Thanks.

I have read many (hours worth) posts about PP here.
1) Im not doing PP but I am curious.
2) It seems to be a "love-hate" relationship with PP depending on who you talk (or read) to.
3) One common complaint seemed to be waiting for your checks from out of town firms.

Again there is volumes of info here and I am an outsider looking in.

Good Luck with it.

On the bright side, I now know who that same CL poster was that posted the same "property preservation" ads over and over and over in pretty much every state and every city, every two days for months and months.

They're property preservation companies/intermediaries building a suckers list.

That's all they're doing is being an internet salesperson, collecting the names, addresses, experience of as many tradesmen/women in as many different areas as they can across the country.

Then they go to an institution and say "I have all these people....everywhere! What do you have. Whatever you have, I can get it done." It seems like just a pyramid scheme to me.
