Where do you guys and gals store your personal property at?

I had a client tell me to store some of the items at my house. LOL I asked the rep to store it at their house. She didn't like that. I advised them to call the county sheriff office to see of that was acceptable. He refused. I patched them in and let them tell her local guidelines in dealing with that stuff and the idiot tried to argue with him stating our work order is the only thing we needed. It was the funniest thing I ever heard!! She then told him they do this all the time. Now, the sheriff working on getting a subpoena of their records. Fines are coming.

This week I've been shot at, yelled and thanked like no other(which is rare) going to take the weekend off to lay new tile and carpet on my home. (thanks for the suggestion Fremont!!)

Sometimes you have to say screw it. Time at home, working or with family is always better.

Never ever store anything at your home or place of business! Take it to an insured and secured storage unit with 24 hour monitoring.

If you don't you will wish you did when the next homeowner comes calling for missing items.

Also, Never ever transport these items to the storage facility unless you are licensed and bonded for moving....ie moving company. You will also wish you did heed this advise when the next homeowner says something was broken in transit or missing.....

As for the original question....... I won't touch it.


They can store it onsite for 30 days.
They've let it sit for months and in some cases years already.
Another month in the big scheme of things isn't going to matter.
