I am looking to expand my PP division and I am not sure if to hire temp workers for the traashouts/cleanouts/grass cuts or to hire employees. Employees will increase my insurance, taxes, etc. What say you?

Hire temps through a temp agency when needed. Keeps your workcomp premiums down. Just be sure to get a copy of the temp agencies wc cert for your audits. Understand that its hard to use temps that are "self-sufficient".

Either that or bid the jobs out to them. I average $150-300 on Janitorial bid outs and the guys i used flat rate bid the debris which i see very little of most of the time........

Thanks for your input. I meet a manager for a temp agency and she suggested I use her agency. After running the numbers it seems to be the best option, at least for now. I may hire a supervisor to handle the temps.
